What we collect
Contact details
Your name, email address and phone number, and the same for the person receiving the parcel.
Addresses
Collection and delivery addresses, and any addresses you save to your address book.
Parcel details
Weight, size, a description of the contents and the value you declare.
Booking history
The bookings you've made, the services chosen and what you paid.
Payment reference
A Stripe payment identifier. We never see or store your card number — it goes straight from your browser to Stripe.
Technical data
Your IP address, used to rate-limit our forms so they can't be abused to send bulk email.
We ask for a description of the contents because couriers need it and because some items can’t travel. Please don’t put anything sensitive in that description — it’s passed to the courier and may be printed on paperwork.
If you give us someone else’s details so we can deliver to them, you should make sure they’re happy for you to do that. We use those details only to deliver the parcel.

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t send marketing email. Everything we email you is about a booking you’ve made or a sign-in you’ve requested.
Who we share it with
Couriers. To deliver a parcel we have to pass the collection and delivery details, contact details and parcel description to the courier you choose: Royal Mail, DPD, Evri, Yodel, UPS, Parcelforce, FedEx, InPost. Each of them is a separate data controller and handles that data under their own privacy policy.
Companies that run parts of the service for us. These act on our instructions only:
Vector Label Gateway
Books labels with the courier networks
Stripe
Takes card payments — card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us
Supabase
Stores bookings, accounts and saved addresses
Resend
Sends confirmation emails and sign-in links
Sendcloud
Finds nearby drop-off points and lockers
Vercel
Hosts the website
We may also share data where the law requires it — for example with the authorities where a parcel is suspected of containing something illegal.
Where your data goes
Some of the companies above are based outside the UK, or store data outside it. Where that happens, the transfer is covered either by UK adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for six years, because tax and accounting rules require it and because claims can arise long after a parcel was sent. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and sessions after 30 days. If you close your account we delete your saved addresses and parcel presets, but the booking records themselves are kept for the six-year period.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that’s wrong;
- delete it, where we don’t need to keep it for a legal reason;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format.
Email info@rapidpack.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month. There’s no charge.
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Cookies
We use one cookie, and it’s there to keep you signed in. The cookie policy explains it, along with the other browser storage the booking flow relies on.
